Vedan
Vietnam Enterprise Corporation was established
in 1991 in Phuoc Thai village, Long
Thanh district of Dong Nai province,
about 70 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh
city , the biggest city in Vietnam,
in Phuoc Thai Village, Long Thanh district
of Dong Nai province.
The highly
modernized food and biotech industrial
complex is approximately 120 hectares
in size. The current operation plants
and facilities include MSG plant, Starch
and Glucose Syrup plant, Chlor-Alkali
plant, Lysine plant, CO-generation power
plant, 03 state of the art Waste water
treatment systems and Phuoc Thai port
- 60,000 ton cistern for production
use, and Administration office building
as well as living and recreation areas
.
To prepare
for the upcoming age of Biotechnology,
Vedan Vietnam is still under new expansion
projects. The to be-finished ones include:
Industrial enzyme, Vitamin C, Citric
Acid, and nucleic Acid ect
by
these Vedan Vietnam not only can upgrade
and diversify its industrial scale,
but also secure Vedan a leading position
in the world's biotech industry.
Vedan
Vietnam has #51 National highway in
front of it to connect North and South
bound traffic of the country. And, at
the back there is the Thi Vai River,
an international sea-route that can
go straight to Vung Tau harbor in the
South. On top of that, Vedan Vietnam
has built its own Vedan Phuoc Thai port,
a port that can accommodate two 12,000-tonnage
vessels to facilitate the inbound and
outbound of both raw material and finished
products.
Such a
large-scale plant building project was
given birth under Vedan Group's many
years of attentive planning. With a
total investment amount as high as 321
million US dollars, it was made possible
by Vietnam government 's cooperation
and the collective effort from all Vedan
staff of the head company in Taiwan. |
